🐄 From Beef Suet to Skincare
In 2023, Cameron had some
leftover beef suet after processing an elk (because why waste perfectly good
fat?). He decided to render it into tallow and experiment with making his own
beard oil. To his surprise, it worked—really well. That very first attempt
sparked something much bigger.
Soon, he was crafting small
batches of tallow lip balms and body balms. He started whipping the tallow into
a rich, fluffy cream, and when Brianna tried it on her face… she never went
back to her old skincare routine. They began tweaking recipes, testing them out
with friends and family, and before long, The Tallow Trade was born in
2025.

Meet the Makers
We’re Cameron and Brianna, the
husband-and-wife duo behind The Tallow Trade. We’ve been married since 2018 and
are raising three beautiful (and busy!) kids in Oregon.
Cameron is an Army veteran with a
passion for the outdoors—especially hunting big game in the Oregon mountains.
Brianna is a stay-at-home mom who lights up every room she walks into. She's
the heart of our home and the soul of our social life.
Together, we make products we
trust on our own skin—and more importantly, on our children’s.
